Apply for a Arborist License
All Arborists must have a current Lake Saint Louis Business License before they can obtain an Arborist License. To apply for a Lake Saint Louis Arborist License complete the steps listed below. Please note that processing of your online applications will only be done during City Hall business hours.
Step 1 - Register & create a user account by going to https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/lakesaintlouismo and click on “Business Licenses”. Register with your email address, create a password, enter your name & phone # as a new user. You should receive an email from municipalonlinepayments.com with a link for you to activate your account registration. Please make sure to remember your login and password as this will be used again in this process and for future renewals as well.
Step 2 - Then you will need to click on “Manage Associations”, and complete the rest of the fields, click on “Associate New License”. This step will connect your registered user account with our business license program.
Step 3 - Once processed you will receive an email from City Clerk when your membership association is approved, you will be then be able to log back in to “Apply for a license”. Select your license type (Arborist) from the drop down arrow list and complete the rest of the fields. Then click on “Submit License Application”.
Step 4 - Once processed you will receive an email from City Clerk informing you when you can pay the fee online and if any additional documentation is required. The Arborist License fee is $25.00.
Business License fees are payable by credit/debit card online (step 4 above), note that a service fee will be added when paid online. If you prefer to pay by check then you can mail or drop off your payment at City Hall, Attn:City Clerk, 200 Civic Center Drive, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367
Arborists applicants must also send the following items via email to the City Clerk.
- Your company's ISA Certified Arborist Name & Certification #.
- A Certificate of Insurance of at least five hundred thousand dollars and listing the City of Lake Saint Louis, 200 Civic Center Drive, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367 as a certificate holder. It must also show your workers compensation coverage.
