St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team

The St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team is a multi-jurisdictional team that includes members from the county and municipal police agencies from within St. Charles County. The Lake Saint Louis Police Department has participated in the St. Charles County Regional SWAT Team since its inception in 2004.

The team includes members from the St. Charles County Police Department, as well as from the cities of St. Charles, St. Peters, Cottleville, O’Fallon, Lake Saint Louis and Wentzville Police Departments. This specially trained/equipped team provides support to law enforcement agencies within the county of St. Charles and any other requesting law enforcement agency with a tactical response to critical incidents, such as armed barricaded subjects, hostage situations, high-risk search warrant service/entry and large-scale ground searches.

The Lake Saint Louis Police Officers serving on the team are assigned to the Bureau of Field Operations, Patrol Division.
